Captain Evan Amato is currently an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies at the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 365, based at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Massachusetts.
Before joining AFROTC, Captain Amato held a range of leadership roles within the Financial Management and Cost Analysis career fields. He served as Chief of Cost Analysis for the Aerial Networks Division within the Cyber and Network Directorate, part of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts. Additionally, he served as Deputy Flight Commander for both Financial Services and Financial Analysis in the 412th Comptroller Squadron at Edwards Air Force Base, California.
